We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, and support the company’s financial reporting and tax compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Record daily financial transactions and maintain ledgers

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable

Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements

Process payroll and ensure correct statutory deductions

Prepare VAT, withholding tax, and payroll tax reports

Maintain and organize financial documents

Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting

Monitor cash flow and report discrepancies

Support internal and external audits

Ensure compliance with company financial policies

Qualifications & Skills:

BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or related field

Minimum 2 years relevant work experience (manufacturing is a plus)

Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws (VAT, WHT, PAYE, pension)

Experience with Peachtree/Sage or similar software

High accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills

Ability to work under pressure

Strong integrity and professionalism
