Senior Drafts Person (2 Positions)

Location: Megenagna, Shola, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Employment Type: Permanent (Full-time)

Salary: Negotiable

About the Position

We are seeking two experienced Senior Drafts Persons to join our growing architectural and engineering team. The successful candidates will prepare high-quality architectural drawings, coordinate with engineers and architects, and produce accurate technical documentation for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
Revise drawings based on project requirements and design changes.
Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and sanitary engineers.
Ensure drawings comply with Ethiopian building regulations and company standards.
Organize and maintain project drawing files.
Support project documentation and permit submission processes.
Meet project deadlines while maintaining excellent quality.

Required Skills

Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards.
Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and time management.
Knowledge of construction methods and building regulations is an advantage.

Qualifications

Diploma in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field.
Senior-level drafting experience.
Experience working in architectural or engineering consulting firms is preferred.
