About the Role

Abay Mart is looking for a creative and dynamic Content Creator who is fluent in both Afaan Oromo and Amharic. The ideal candidate will create engaging, relatable, and culturally relevant content, especially in Afaan Oromo to connect with a wider audience.

Key Responsibilities

-Create short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts)

-Present and speak confidently in Afaan Oromo (primary) and Amharic

-Develop creative ideas aligned with Abay Mart’s brand

-Collaborate with the production and marketing team

-Participate as an on-camera talent when needed

-Stay updated with social media trends in Ethiopia

Requirements

-Fluent in Afaan Oromo and Amharic

-Strong communication and storytelling skills

-Comfortable in front of the camera

-Basic understanding of content creation (filming/editing is a plus)

-Creative mindset with knowledge of Ethiopian audience behavior

-Previous experience in content creation is preferred

Bonus Skills

-Video editing skills (Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.)

-Experience working with brands or social media pages

-Strong personality and confidence on camera
