Restaurant Setup & Operations Manager (One or two -Month Contract)

We are looking for an experienced professional to help us establish a new small restaurant (Migib Bet) from the ground up.

Contract Duration: 1 -2 month
Compensation: ETB 15000 - 30,000 per month

Responsibilities

Oversee the complete setup of the restaurant.
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for interior décor, kitchen layout, equipment, and overall migib bet setup.
Recruit and help manage cooks, waitresses, and other staff.
Develop operational procedures and assist in launching day-to-day restaurant operations.
Guide and assist with all business registration requirements, including business licensing, TIN registration, tax (Gibir) registration, and other legal or regulatory processes. ( this is a bit optional but preferred if you have experience )
Coordinate with relevant government offices and service providers as needed.
Provide practical recommendations to ensure the restaurant is ready for a successful opening.

Requirements

Previous experience managing or owning a restaurant, café, or similar food business.
Strong understanding of restaurant operations and staff management.
Familiarity with restaurant setup, kitchen planning, and supplier coordination.
Knowledge of Ethiopian business registration, licensing, TIN, and tax procedures.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and solve problems.
