WE ARE HIRING – MARKETING MANAGER

Danob Trading PLC is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Marketing Manager to lead our marketing team and drive the company’s growth.

Position: Marketing Manager

location : Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
Lead and manage the marketing team, ensuring strong performance and accountability.
Develop and execute brand, digital, social media, trade marketing, and promotional strategies.
Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales and market share.
Plan and manage marketing campaigns from concept to execution and evaluation.
Analyze market trends, customer behavior, competitors, and industry developments.
Develop strong relationships with customers, partners, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
Manage marketing budgets and ensure effective return on marketing investment.
Oversee the company’s social media presence, content strategy, campaigns, and brand communication.
Coordinate exhibitions, events, product launches, and promotional activities.
Work closely with the Sales and Management teams to develop strategies that support revenue growth.
Monitor and report key marketing KPIs and provide strategic recommendations to management.
Build and maintain a strong and consistent company brand across all communication channels.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience in marketing management, preferably in FMCG, food, retail, distribution, or a related industry.
Strong leadership and team-management skills.
Excellent knowledge of digital marketing, social media, branding, and market research.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Proven experience in developing and successfully implementing marketing strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of the Ethiopian market and consumer behavior.
Ability to work independently, make strategic decisions, and deliver measurable results.
Excellent organizational and project-management skills.
