We are looking for an experienced Associate Business Development Manager to support the Business Development Manager in driving the company's growth strategy. This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior level professional with a strong background in business development, sales, partnerships, and tender management, particularly within the technology, fintech, digital services, and marketing industries.

The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, prepare winning proposals and tenders, negotiate contracts, and contribute to revenue growth while collaborating closely with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across public and private sectors.
Develop and execute strategies to generate qualified leads and increase revenue.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Support the Business Development Manager in achieving departmental sales targets.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.

Sales & Client Management

Lead client meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
Negotiate contracts and close business opportunities.
Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.
Ensure excellent client experience throughout the sales cycle.

Tender & Proposal Management

Monitor tender portals and identify relevant opportunities.
Coordinate the preparation of tender documents, technical proposals, and commercial submissions.
Work with technical, finance, and legal teams to ensure complete and compliant bid submissions.
Manage proposal timelines and submission deadlines.
Analyze tender outcomes and recommend improvements for future bids.

Partnership Development

Develop strategic partnerships with technology providers, financial institutions, government agencies, and corporate organizations.
Identify collaboration opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals.
Maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Collaboration

Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Delivery teams to develop tailored client solutions.
Ensure smooth handover of signed projects to delivery teams.
Provide market insights that influence product and service development.

Reporting

Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
Track KPIs, revenue forecasts, and pipeline performance.
Report business development progress and market trends to the Business Development Manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Master's degree is an advantage.

Experience

3 plus years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Partnerships.
Experience managing tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and proposal development.
Proven experience in the technology, fintech, digital transformation, software, marketing, or creative industries.
Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Experience working with government, enterprise, or corporate clients is an advantage.
