We are looking for a highly skilled WebAR Developer to take ownership of our immersive mobile first browser-based experiences. You will be responsible for creating high-performance, interactive 3D portals that delight users and drive conversion.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead AR Development: Architect and implement high-performance WebAR experiences using Three.js, A-Frame, or similar WebXR frameworks.

Asset Optimization: Establish pipelines to optimize 3D assets (GLB/USDZ) for rapid mobile loading and smooth rendering on various devices.

Bridge Engineering: Work closely with our backend team to ensure seamless hand-offs between the AR experience and our WhatsApp commerce engine.

Performance Tuning: Optimize for the \"5-second rule,\" ensuring immersive experiences remain stable and fast over cellular networks.

Interactive Design: Translate high-fidelity creative concepts into functional, interactive spatial environments.

Qualifications

Core Expertise: Deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and WebGL/Three.js.

WebAR Experience: Proven track record of shipping WebAR applications (using 8th Wall, MindAR, or custom WebXR implementations).

Asset Optimization: Strong understanding of 3D asset workflows—specifically optimizing polygon counts, texture compression, and PBR for mobile performance.

System Integration: Experience with deep linking and API-driven communication between web frontends and backend services.

Portfolio Required: Please provide links to your best work in WebAR or immersive web experiences.

Nice-to-Haves

Background in creative direction or UI/UX design for spatial computing.
