Key Responsibilities

Handle domestic and international flight reservations using Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
Book, issue, reissue, and refund airline tickets accurately and efficiently.
Assist customers with flight schedules, fare quotations, travel routes, and airline policies.
Process ticket exchanges, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with airline regulations.
Advise customers on the most suitable travel options based on their requirements and budget.
Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and booking related issues professionally and promptly.
Ensure all reservations comply with airline fare rules and company procedures.
Maintain accurate customer booking records and documentation.
Coordinate with airlines and travel partners regarding booking changes and travel updates.
Achieve departmental service quality standards and booking accuracy targets.
Stay updated on airline schedules, fare changes, travel regulations, and industry developments.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience: 2 years and above in airline travel booking or a travel agency.
Experience using Galileo GDS is mandatory.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management, Travel Operations, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.

Required Certifications

Applicants must have a valid Galileo Certificate. The following certifications are highly advantageous:

Galileo Reservation & Ticketing Certification
IATA Foundation in Travel & Tourism
IATA Airline Cabin Reservations
Amadeus Reservation & Ticketing Certification
Sabre Reservation & Ticketing Certification
Travelport Smart point Certification
Airline Fare & Ticketing Certification
BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) Operations Training
Customer Service or Contact Center Training

Required Skills

Excellent knowledge of airline reservation and ticketing procedures.
Strong proficiency in Galileo GDS.
Knowledge of international airfare calculation and ticketing rules.
Experience with ticket exchanges, refunds, and revalidation.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong problem solving and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Strong teamwork and time management skills.
