Job Summary
Web Technology is seeking a qualified and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Addis Ababa Head Office. The successful candidate will support financial operations, maintain accounting records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with company financial procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Maintain cash books and petty cash records.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Support budget preparation and financial planning activities.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
