Location: Addis Ababa Bole International Airport
Position: Cashier

NHY Duty Free Shop is looking for a competent and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.

Key Responsibilities:

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash, credit card, and foreign currency transactions.
Ensure proper cash balancing and reconciliation at the end of each shift.
Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with inquiries.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure cashier workstation.
Report any discrepancies, shortages, or operational issues immediately.
Support inventory and sales activities as required.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and airport security requirements.

Mandatory Requirements:

Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Hands-on experience with the CNET System (mandatory).
Previous cashier or retail experience.
Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced airport retail environment.

Additional Advantage:

Knowledge and experience in handling and identifying different foreign currencies and exchange denominations.
