Job Title: Cameraman & Video Editor

Compensation: 200 Birr per completed video
About the Role
We are seeking a versatile Cameraman & Video Editor to handle both on-set production and post-production. In this dual role, you will operate camera equipment to capture high-quality raw footage and edit that footage into engaging, high-performing video content tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube.
Key Responsibilities
Camera Work (Cameraman): Set up and operate camera gear, lighting, and audio equipment for studio or field shoots.
Video Editing (Editor): Trim, assemble, and edit raw footage, incorporating color grading, sound design, transitions, and text overlays.
TikTok & Short-Form Focus: Produce fast-paced, vertical content optimized for TikTok algorithm trends, hook structures, and viewer retention.
Asset Management: Organize media files, back up raw footage, and maintain structured project archives.
Qualifications & Equipment Requirements
Hardware & Software: Must possess and bring your own high-performance laptop capable of video rendering, along with professional editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut).
Dual Experience: Proven experience acting as both a Cameraman and Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing both camera composition and editing skills.
Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of short-form social media video standards (specifically TikTok pacing, trends, and audio licensing).
Self-Sufficiency: Ability to work independently on set and manage tight production turnarounds.
