Senior Accountant

Lemamat trading & industry is looking for a qualified, motivated, and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day financial transactions and bookkeeping using Peachtree (Sage) accounting software.

- Prepare and file VAT and other relevant tax returns in compliance with tax regulations.

- Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and financial statements.

Requirements:

- Education: BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in accounting.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Peachtree (Sage) accounting software is mandatory.

- Tax Knowledge: Solid understanding of Ethiopian tax laws, specifically regarding VAT filing and reporting.

- Integrity: High level of professional ethics and attention to detail.
