Duties and Responsibilities

Collect, process, and analyze clinical specimens, including blood, urine, sputum, stool, and other body fluids.
Perform microbiological tests to identify bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.
Conduct culture, staining, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, and other laboratory procedures.
Interpret laboratory results and prepare accurate reports for physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of laboratory specimens and hazardous materials.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain microbiology laboratory equipment.
Adhere to laboratory quality assurance, quality control, and biosafety protocols.
Monitor and maintain infection prevention and control (IPC) standards within the laboratory.
Maintain accurate laboratory records, documentation, and inventory of reagents and supplies.

Required Experience

Entry-level candidates and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Relevant professional experience in a clinical, hospital, or diagnostic microbiology laboratory is preferred and will be considered an advantage.
