Job Summary

MILO Health & Wellness Group is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Pediatric Nurse to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, working closely with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
Assess, monitor, and record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.
Administer medications, intravenous therapy, immunizations, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately.
Assist pediatricians during examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.
Educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition, medication administration, immunization schedules, growth and development, and disease prevention.
Monitor patient progress and promptly report any changes in condition to the attending physician.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and nursing records.
Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices are followed at all times.
Prepare and maintain pediatric examination and treatment rooms, ensuring equipment is clean and functional.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, high-quality patient care.
Participate in health education and community outreach programs when required.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, professional standards, and ethical nursing practice.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid professional nursing license to practice in Ethiopia.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a pediatric ward, pediatric clinic, neonatal unit, or hospital setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of pediatric nursing care, child growth and development, and immunization practices.
Experience in pediatric emergency care and neonatal care is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records are an advantage.
