The Psychology Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging psychology lessons that help students understand human behavior, mental processes, and psychological theories. The teacher creates a positive learning environment, assesses student progress, and supports students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver psychology lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
Teach key psychology concepts, theories, research methods, and applications.
Assess and evaluate students' academic performance through assignments, quizzes, projects, and examinations.
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and ethical understanding of psychological issues.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school administrators regarding student progress.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Teaching certification or license as required by the relevant education authority.
Strong knowledge of psychology principles and educational practices.
Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
