Position Summary

As a QA and application security engineer/officer, you will be ensuring that our products are both reliable and secure before deployment. You will be responsible for testing applications, identifying vulnerabilities, and collaborating with developers to deliver secure and high‑quality software.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to validate application functionality.
Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and backend systems.
Conduct security assessments, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and code reviews.
Collaborate with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities and enforce secure coding practices.
Integrate QA and security checks into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
Document and report bugs, vulnerabilities, and test results clearly and effectively.
Stay updated on QA methodologies, security threats, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in Quality Assurance (QA): test case design, regression testing, and automation frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright).
Strong background in cybersecurity: penetration testing, OWASP Top 10, vulnerability management, and secure application design.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and security tools (Burp Suite, Nessus, and OWASP ZAP).
Solid understanding of network security fundamentals and secure deployment practices.
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into agile workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software/computer engineering, or any ICT/IT-related field
3+ years of experience, especially in a QA or application security-related role.
