main Role & Responsibilities

To ensures financial accuracy, analyzes results, and guides the accounting team.

Financial Statement Preparation: Generating accurate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements every month.
Month-End and Year-End Close: Leading the closing process, ensuring all journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals are completed on time.
General Ledger Oversight: Monitoring and reconciling complex accounts, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
Audit Management: Acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors, preparing schedules, and gathering requested documentation.
Junior Team Supervision: Reviewing the work, journal entries, and bank reconciliations of junior and staff accountants to catch errors.
Required Skills
Technical Accounting (GAAP/IFRS): In-depth knowledge of accounting standards to correctly handle complex transactions like revenue recognition or lease accounting.
Advanced Reconciliations: Ability to investigate and resolve deep discrepancies in accounts that staff accountants cannot solve.
Financial Variance Analysis: Skill to compare actual financial data against budgets and forecasts, explaining the variances to management.
