MARKETING & GROWTH ASSOCIATE

Full-Time | Addis Ababa | ShamaStudios

ShamaStudios is looking for a hungry, creative and ambitious marketing professional to join our team.

We are a creative production and marketing company focused on storytelling, visual communication and business growth. From commercial productions and documentaries to social media, branding, photography and digital campaigns, we help businesses turn ideas into content that gets noticed.

We’re now looking for someone who can take our marketing and business development efforts to the next level.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

* Develop and execute marketing strategies for ShamaStudios and our clients

* Plan, create and manage social media content and campaigns

* Develop content calendars, creative concepts and brand strategies

* Manage Meta and Google advertising campaigns

* Track analytics, campaign performance and audience insights

* Research trends, competitors and new marketing opportunities

* Generate leads and actively support client acquisition

* Communicate with prospective clients and contribute to client meetings

* Work closely with our photographers, videographers, editors and designers to turn marketing ideas into content

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re open to ambitious interns, fresh graduates and early-career professionals, as well as candidates with relevant experience.

You should have a good understanding of:

* Digital marketing & social media

* Content strategy

* Meta / Google Ads

* Branding

* Marketing analytics

* Lead generation & client acquisition

A background in theatre, performing arts, film, storytelling or another creative discipline is highly preferred.

Most importantly, we want someone who is creative, proactive, commercially minded and hungry to learn and grow.

You don’t need to know everything. But you need to be willing to figure things out, take initiative and get things done.

THE ROLE

This is a full-time position within a young, creative and fast-moving production environment. You’ll work directly with our creative and production teams and get hands-on experience with real brands, real campaigns and real clients.
