Dema Hope Real Estate is a leading property developer committed to timely delivery. As part of our growth, we are seeking for a Senior Accountant with direct experience to join our team.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Manage month, quarter, and year end closing, including journal entries and financial statements.
Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts, analyze budget variances, and perform cost analysis.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations, and prepare audit schedules for external audits.
Review junior accountants' work, assign tasks, and support training.
Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitor budget performance.
Supervise bookkeepers and AP/AR staff, providing technical guidance.
Recommend improvements to accounting processes, systems, and controls.
Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports.
Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the Head of Finance.
Calculate and process salaries, commissions, and pensions.

Qualification:

7+ years relevant work experience which 2 of them shall be in a Senior Role
Work experience in a real estate or Construction environment is advantageous
Proven track record related to successful tax audit
