Social Media Manager & Content Writer (1 Position)

Company: Horizon Trading PLC

Location: Addis Ababa

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Manage Horizon's social media platforms and publish content.
Prepare and maintain weekly/monthly content calendars.
Write captions, social media posts, promotional copy, and video scripts in English and Amharic.
Monitor audience engagement and respond to comments/messages.
Track content performance and suggest new content ideas and trends.
Work closely with the marketing team to execute campaigns.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.

Preferred Skills

Understanding of education or study abroad content.
Comfortable appearing in videos occasionally when needed.
Additional Language is preferable

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of professional experience in social media management or content writing.
Excellent writing skills in English and Amharic.
Good understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
Familiarity with Canva or other basic content creation tools is an advantage.
Creative, organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
Samples of previous content or social media work are an advantage.
