VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Global Hotel, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing daily accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Our company operates in the hospitality and interior furnishing industries and also owns a furniture manufacturing plant, allowing us to design and produce high-quality furniture for our projects and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate accounting records and financial statements.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.

Assist with budgeting, payroll, and tax compliance.

Monitor inventory and production-related financial transactions.

Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Software Requirement

Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting Software is required, as it is the primary accounting system used by the company. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is also expected.
