MILO Health & Wellness Group is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Pediatric Nurse to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents while working closely with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
Assess, monitor, and document patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall clinical condition.
Administer prescribed medications, IV therapy, immunizations, and other treatments safely and accurately.
Assist pediatricians during examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.
Provide appropriate nursing care for pediatric and neonatal patients.
Educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition, medication use, immunization schedules, growth and development, and disease prevention.
Monitor patients’ progress and promptly report significant changes in condition to the attending physician.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and nursing documentation.
Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
Prepare and maintain pediatric examination, treatment, and procedure areas and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and functional.
Respond appropriately to pediatric emergencies and support stabilization and referral when required.
Collaborate effectively with pediatricians, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, professional standards, patient-safety requirements, and ethical nursing practice.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid professional nursing license to practice in Ethiopia.
Minimum of 1 year and above of clinical experience, preferably in pediatric nursing, a pediatric ward/clinic, neonatal unit, or hospital setting.
Good knowledge of pediatric nursing care, child growth and development, and immunization practices.
Experience in pediatric emergency care and neonatal care is an advantage.
Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records are an advantage.
