Role Overview
Merkato TV is seeking a detail-oriented, passionate, and well-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This is a full-time position based in Addis Ababa. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, eager to grow, and open to learning the ins and outs of media industry financials.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and expense tracking.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Support the preparation of weekly/monthly financial reports.
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Fresh Graduate: No extensive experience required, but a strong willingness to learn is a must.
Well-oriented, structured, and attentive to detail.
Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
Familiarity with basic accounting software or MS Excel is a plus.
