· Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.

· Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.

· Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among students.

· Use a variety of differentiated instruction strategies to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.

· Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.

2. Assessment and Evaluation

· Assess student performance through formal and informal testing (quizzes, essays, presentations, standardized tests).

· Provide timely, constructive feedback on student work.

· Maintain accurate and complete records of student attendance, progress, and grades.

· Analyze student data to adjust instruction and identify students who need remediation or enrichment.

3. Classroom Environment and Culture

· Create a classroom environment that is safe, respectful, and conducive to learning.

· Manage student behavior by establishing clear expectations and applying appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.

4. Communication and Collaboration

· Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities (e.g., parent-teacher conferences, emails, newsletters).

· Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education staff, and specialists to support student learning.

· Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.

5. Professional Development and School Duties

· Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and training sessions.

· Stay current with educational trends and best practices in the subject area.

· Supervise students during non-instructional times (e.g., lunch, recess, hallways, assemblies).

· Participate in extracurricular activities such as clubs, academic tutoring, or coaching (as required by the contract).
