Kalo Farms PLC is looking for an experienced and hands-on Farm Manager to lead the overall operations of our farm in Holeta. The role oversees animal feed production, livestock management, crop and pasture management, farm staff, and budgets — serving as the senior operational leader on site, reporting to the General Manager.

What You Will Do

• Lead and coordinate all daily farm operations across feed production, livestock, and crops.

• Oversee the animal feed plant, ensuring feed is produced to specification and delivered on time.

• Manage livestock health, nutrition, and welfare across the farm.

• Supervise crop and pasture cultivation, planting, and harvesting.

• Manage, train, and evaluate farm staff and department supervisors.

• Oversee farm budgets, procurement, and input management.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Report regularly to the General Manager on farm performance.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in farm or agricultural operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.

• Practical knowledge of livestock management, animal feed production, and crop or pasture management.

• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams in a farm environment.

• Good financial and organizational skills; experience managing budgets and farm records.

• Ability to work hands-on in a field-based environment and handle multiple priorities.
