Cameraman / Videographer

Position Title: Cameraman / Videographer
Company: Web Technology
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Reports To: Marketing and Communication Manager

Job Summary

Web Technology is seeking a creative and skilled Cameraman/Videographer to capture high-quality video and photo content for marketing, training, customer success stories, product demonstrations, events, and social media platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, shooting, editing, and delivering engaging visual content that supports the company's branding and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production

Plan, organize, and execute video shoots for company projects.
Capture high-quality video footage and photographs.
Record interviews, customer testimonials, training sessions, and corporate events.
Ensure proper lighting, sound, and camera settings during production.

Editing and Post-Production

Add graphics, subtitles, transitions, and visual effects.
Ensure videos align with company branding guidelines.
Archive and manage video and photo files.

Content Development

Collaborate with the Marketing, HR, and Business Development teams to create content.
Develop creative concepts and storyboards.
Produce content for YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and other digital platforms.

Equipment Management

Maintain cameras, microphones, lighting equipment, and accessories.
Report equipment issues and recommend upgrades when necessary.
Ensure safe handling and storage of production equipment.

Qualifications

Education

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Media Production, Film Production, Communication, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in videography, camera operation, or content production.
Experience producing content for digital and social media platforms.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Strong understanding of camera operation, Photography, lighting, and audio recording.
graphic design skill is an advantage.
Knowledge of social media content creation and digital marketing.
