POSITION SUMMARY

Operations Manager is responsible to provide support to the core business functions in matters related with administrative support, availability of working materials, IT supports procurement of materials and managing relationship of farms with external parties. Besides, the position holder is responsible to monitor activities such as irrigation, chemical applications and harvesting to ensure adherence to safety, regulations and industry standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare plan and manage operations related budget to ensure minimal production cost and optimal product quality.
Review flower production processes and procedure to ensure they operate at highest possible efficiency.
Manage and oversee utilization of petty cash and replenish on a timely manner.
Oversee IT department operations to ensure highly effective operation system.
Collaborate with health/safety managers to develop and implement safety policies for general flower operations.
Carry out research to discover ways of improving on existing operational processes.
Liaise with corporate offices to develop and improve supplier relationship.
Conduct employee performance appraisals to identify areas of limitation in order to provide coaching and guidance.
Delegate and assign work tasks to production staff to achieve set flower production targets.
Optimize production process by eliminating wastes and other constraints to improve work efficiency.
Oversee the long-term planning and initiatives geared towards enhanced operations.
Maintain positive trust relationship with suppliers to ensure constant flow of required raw materials.
Ensure timely and effective delivery of goods to clients.
Maintain accurate inventory and ensure proper storage of received raw materials.
Utilize cost-benefit analytical techniques in improving operational efficiency.
Managing procurement and resource allocation.
Perform other activities assigned by immediate Line manager.
