Key Responsibility:

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met.
Prepare financial management reports.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.
Monitor and support taxation requirements.
Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process.
Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. Proficiency in financial software and tool.
Minimum of 5 years experience in an accounting role.
Hands-on experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is essential for this role.
Strong knowledge of balance sheet preparation and financial statement reporting.
Familiarity with Ethiopian Revenue Office processes, tax reporting, and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
