Evaluate the aroma, flavor, acidity, body, and overall quality of coffee samples using standard cupping procedures.
Conduct coffee cupping sessions and prepare accurate cupping reports.
Identify coffee defects and recommend quality improvements.
Classify and grade coffee according to company and industry standards.
Work closely with the quality control, procurement, and export teams.
Maintain cupping equipment and ensure cleanliness of the cupping laboratory.
Keep accurate records of cupping results and quality assessments.
Support quality assurance activities throughout the coffee supply chain.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Coffee Quality, Agriculture, Food Science, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in coffee cupping or coffee quality control.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in coffee export companies.
- Familiarity with Ethiopian coffee grading standards and international coffee quality requirements.
- Good command of English and Amharic.
