Main Role

Establish, operate, and optimize a small electroplating laboratory for research, process development, and pilot production. The successful candidate will develop reliable electroplating processes and support the transition to commercial production.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain electroplating solutions and chemical baths.
Perform surface preparation, electroplating, passivation, and post-treatment processes.
Conduct experiments to optimize plating quality, adhesion, thickness, and corrosion resistance.
Monitor and control process parameters such as current, voltage, temperature, pH, and chemical concentrations.
Inspect plated parts and perform quality control tests.
Record experimental data, maintain process documentation, and prepare technical reports.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals.
Troubleshoot plating defects and recommend process improvements.
Support the scale-up of laboratory processes to pilot and production levels.
