Operations Director -Printing & Light Box Workshop

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Operations Director to lead the day-to-day operations of a printing, light box, signage, fabrication, finishing, and installation workshop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, timely project completion, effective resource utilization, cost control, and strong workshop performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily workshop and production operations, including printing, fabrication, light box, signage, finishing, and installation.
Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
Manage manpower, machinery, materials, inventory, and other production resources effectively.
Monitor product quality and reduce errors, rework, material waste, and production delays.
Control operational costs and improve workshop productivity and profitability.
Oversee equipment maintenance, machine availability, and workshop readiness.
Lead, supervise, and evaluate workshop teams to ensure productivity, discipline, and teamwork.
Establish and monitor production KPIs and take corrective action where required.
Coordinate closely with Project Management, Account Management, Creative, Procurement, Finance, HR, and Logistics teams.
Oversee delivery and installation activities and ensure projects are completed according to agreed timelines.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
Prepare regular operational and production performance reports for management.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and profitability.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in operations, production, manufacturing, printing, signage, advertising production, fabrication, or a related industry.
At least 1 year of experience in a managerial or senior supervisory role.
Practical experience in printing, signage, fabrication, light box production, or advertising production is highly preferred.
Strong leadership, production planning, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of material, inventory, cost, and quality management.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational management tools.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
