Part-Time Junior Blender 3D Modeler — CNC Production

Position: Junior Blender 3D Modeler
Type: Part-time, Remote
Focus: 3D Sculpting & CNC Production Models

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Blender Modeler to join our team on a part-time remote basis.

The role involves creating and refining 3D models in Blender that will ultimately be exported as STL files for CNC machining and physical production.

Responsibilities

Create and modify 3D models using Blender.
Develop sculpted, organic, decorative, and product-style forms.
Prepare models specifically for CNC machining and STL export.
Ensure models have clean geometry, appropriate topology, and watertight meshes.
Follow provided dimensions, references, and production requirements.
Make revisions based on technical and design feedback.
Organize and deliver clean Blender project files and production-ready STL files.

Requirements

Proficient with Blender, particularly modeling and sculpting.
Good understanding of mesh topology and 3D geometry.
Experience with Sculpt Mode, modifiers, remeshing, retopology, and mesh cleanup.
Understanding of STL preparation and 3D-print/CNC-oriented modeling.
Strong attention to dimensions, proportions, and detail.
Ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
Reliable communication and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred

Experience creating models for CNC machining, woodworking, furniture, molds, or 3D manufacturing.
Familiarity with CNC limitations, tool access, depth, undercuts, and machining considerations.
Experience with other 3D/CAD software is a plus.
