Ethio Travel Services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Ticketing Agent to join our team in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in airline ticketing, reservation systems, fare calculations, and customer service, with a strong understanding of both domestic and international travel operations.

This position is ideal for a professional who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing ticketing operations while supporting junior team members.

Position Details

Job Title: Senior Ticketing Agent
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Salary: Competitive and negotiable based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Handle domestic and international flight reservations and ticketing.
Process ticket issuance, exchanges, revalidations, and refunds.
Assist customers with travel inquiries and itinerary planning.
Ensure compliance with airline policies and industry regulations.
Resolve ticketing and reservation-related issues promptly.
Provide guidance and support to junior ticketing staff when required.
Maintain accurate booking and transaction records.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in airline ticketing and reservations.
Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
Strong knowledge of airline fares, ticket issuance, reissuance, refunds, and travel regulations.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
