Senior Video Editor (Full-Time, Onsite – YouTube Content)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor to lead the post-production of high-quality YouTube content. You will be responsible for shaping raw footage into engaging, retention-optimized videos that align with modern YouTube growth strategies.

This role requires strong storytelling ability, fast turnaround, and deep understanding of YouTube audience behavior.

Key Responsibilities

Edit long-form YouTube videos and short-form content (Shorts/Reels)

Structure narratives to maximize audience retention and watch time

Add motion graphics, transitions, sound design, subtitles, and effects

Collaborate with content creators, scriptwriters, and directors

Maintain consistent visual branding across all videos

Optimize videos for YouTube SEO (hooks, pacing, thumbnails alignment)

Manage and organize raw footage, project files, and archives

Suggest creative improvements for content performance

Requirements

3–5+ years experience in video editing (YouTube or digital media preferred)

Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve

Strong knowledge of After Effects (motion graphics is a plus)

Deep understanding of YouTube algorithm and retention editing

Ability to work under tight deadlines

Strong storytelling and pacing skills

Portfolio of YouTube or digital content work required

Nice to Have

Experience with viral content editing strategies

Knowledge of color grading and cinematic editing

Experience managing editing teams or junior editors

Understanding of social media content distribution (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)
