Key Responsibilities

Record and process accounting transactions accurately.
Assist in bookkeeping and financial record maintenance.
Prepare and organize supporting documents and accounting files.
Assist in bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
Support the preparation of VAT, withholding tax, and other tax-related schedules.
Assist in preparing financial reports and management reports.
Maintain client records and documentation.
Follow up on missing financial documents from clients.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
CGPA of 3.0 and above preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Good Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to learn and receive feedback.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

Internship experience in accounting, finance, audit, or taxation is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws is an advantage.
Familiarity with accounting software such as Peachtree, QuickBooks, or ERP systems is an advantage.
