Dodai Manufacturing Plc (Dodai), is a recently incorporated organization launched in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on August 01, 2023. Dodai is a fast growing organization with a mission of making e-mobility accessible to everyone in Africa through its innovative products and services. Dodai plans to provide brand new electric two-wheelers by assembling them here in Addis Ababa and plans to expand to major regional cities in Ethiopia by the end of 2025. It’s thus looking to engage dynamic Ethiopian talent to ensure the achievement of its goals.

Purpose of the Position:
The Junior Multimedia Designer at Dodai supports the marketing team by creating engaging visual and multimedia content that strengthens the Dodai brand and boosts lead generation. This role contributes to the production of high-quality graphics, videos, animations, and digital assets that enhance brand visibility and support marketing campaigns. The Junior Multimedia Designer also collaborates with other departments to ensure consistent and impactful communication across all platforms, helping the company achieve its overall mission.

Responsibilities:

Design and produce visual content for social media, websites, campaigns, and internal communications.
Assist in video production, editing, and post-production (cutting, subtitles, basic motion graphics).
Create static and animated graphics for ads, promotions, and brand campaigns.
Support photo and video shoots (setup, basic shooting, file handling).
Ensure all designs follow brand guidelines and visual standards.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Content, and Brand teams to execute creative ideas.
Prepare creatives for different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, print, digital screens).
Edit and retouch photos; apply basic color correction to videos.
Manage, organize, and archive multimedia files and assets properly.
Implement feedback from stakeholders and revise designs efficiently.
Assist in developing storyboards and creative concepts.
Research trends, formats, and competitor content to inspire new ideas.
Support campaign rollouts, activations, and events with creative materials.
Maintain consistency, quality, and timely delivery of all assigned tasks.
Perform other tasks as directed by your supervisor

Qualifications:

Experience:
- 6 months–1 year of experience in graphic design, video production, or related fields.
- Experience working with creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
Skills:
- Strong design skills with a keen eye for detail, composition, and aesthetics.
- Proficiency in video editing and production, including familiarity with camera equipment.
- Strong photo editing and retouching skills using tools like Lightroom or Photoshop.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new trends and technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of motion graphics or animation using tools like After Effects.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms and understanding of social media content requirements.
- Familiarity with photography equipment and techniques.
