The English Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging English language lessons to students of various ages and proficiency levels. The teacher will support learners in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while creating a positive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English language lessons.
Teach English skills including speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.
Assess students' language proficiency and monitor their progress.
Prepare and administer quizzes, tests, assignments, and examinations.
Provide constructive feedback to students to improve performance.
Maintain accurate student attendance and academic records.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs.
Encourage active student participation and communication in English.
Participate in teacher meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress when required.
Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with students from different backgrounds.

Preferred

Teaching certification such as TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent.
Previous experience teaching English as a second or foreign language.
Experience with both in-person and online teaching platforms.
