Job description

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Officer to join our team.

Job Title: Business Development Officer

2. Reports to: Business Development Manager

3. Purpose: Guiding the organization's activities, identifying opportunities

4. Responsibilities:

Building solid relationships with customers, vendors and sales and marketing teams.
Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
Directing marketing efforts by presenting market research and suggesting strategies to expand market.
Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business.
Presenting business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.
Building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients
Identifying and developing new business opportunities for the company.
Researching new markets and emerging market trends.
Recommending new partnerships.
Formulating and implementing an account management plan to ensure that business relations are properly maintained.
Collecting and using market information.
Continually learning about the company’s services.
Overseeing , preparing and participating for international tenders
Assist in sourcing of suppliers for international tenders

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Medicine or Veterinary Medicine
Demonstrated experience in business development, management, sales, or marketing
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Language Skills

· Excellent command of English languages (both written and verbal)

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong New Business Development skills, including opportunity identification, pipeline management, and relationship building.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and a working understanding of Finance to interpret market data, support pricing decisions, and evaluate business cases.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM or sales tracking tools.
Ability to work independently, meet targets, and adapt to a dynamic market environment.
