Key Responsibilities (Job Description)

Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions by scanning items and processing payments (cash, credit cards, or mobile banking).
Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets accurately.
Count the cash drawer at the beginning and end of every shift to ensure balances are correct.
Greet customers warmly as they enter or leave the establishment.
Resolve customer complaints or guide them to the supervisor when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a cashier, retail clerk, or in a customer service role.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with electronic equipment, cash registers, and POS systems.
- Numeracy: Strong basic math skills for fast, accurate handling of money and change.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a polite and friendly approach to customers.
- Reliability: High level of integrity, punctuality, and attention to detail.
