Zafro Furniture is a growing furniture company in Ethiopia. We are currently reviewing and improving our business model, product strategy, pricing, customer targeting, sales approach, and overall market position.

We are looking for a highly skilled Furniture Market Research Expert who can help us understand the market deeply and guide us toward a smarter, more profitable business strategy.

This is not a basic research role. We need someone who can think strategically, analyze the furniture market seriously, and give practical recommendations that can help us change and improve the direction of the business.

What You Will Do

You will research and analyze the furniture market and help us create a stronger business strategy.

Responsibilities include:

Research the Ethiopian furniture market, especially Addis Ababa
Study customer behavior, buying patterns, budgets, and preferences
Analyze competitors, pricing, product quality, offers, positioning, and marketing
Identify high-demand furniture categories and market gaps
Evaluate Zafro’s current business model and suggest improvements
Recommend better product, pricing, package, and sales strategies
Research customer pain points and decision-making factors
Identify opportunities for showroom sales, online sales, packages, custom furniture, and partnerships
Prepare a clear market research report with practical recommendations
Help us create a new business strategy based on real findings
