Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, compliance with applicable tax and accounting requirements, and effective financial controls.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Review journal entries, invoices, payments, receipts, and reconciliations.
Prepare and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank, cash, and general ledger reconciliations.
Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial planning.
Ensure proper documentation and authorization of financial transactions.
Prepare tax declarations and ensure timely tax compliance.
Assist with internal and external audits and provide required financial documents.
Review accounting records to identify errors, discrepancies, and control weaknesses.
Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable laws.
Support management with financial analysis and other accounting-related reports.

Job Specification

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting certification is an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years and above of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in a healthcare organization is an advantage.
Experience in financial reporting, tax, audit, and accounting systems is preferred.
