Job Overview

Looking for an experienced, hygienic, and reliable part-time home cook to prepare balanced, healthy meals for a single-person household. The role focuses on fresh dinners, lunches, and light breakfast prep.

Key Responsibilities

Fresh Evening Dinner,Lunch Prep, Breakfast & Batch Prep

Kitchen Maintenance: Wash all cooking pots/pans, sanitize prep surfaces/stovetop, and neatly label/organize food in the refrigerator before leaving.

Ingredient Coordination: Review weekly menu lists and notify of any pantry/produce items needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience as a private cook, home chef, or commercial kitchen staff (experience with expat or private family households is a strong plus).

Proficiency in European, Mediterranean, or modern healthy international cuisines (seared meats, fresh salads, grain bowls, clean home-style cooking).

High standards of kitchen hygiene, food handling, and organization.

Punctual, detail-oriented, and able to follow specific recipe instructions.

Good communication skills (English proficiency is an advantage).

Must provide at least 1–2 verifiable references from previous employers.

Salary: 9,000 – 12,000 ETB / month (Negotiable based on experience) + Paid Cooking Trial
