We are looking for an experienced Copy Editor to work on high-volume publication projects. The primary responsibility is to review and prepare large volumes of written material for publication, with a strong focus on grammar, proofreading, consistency, and formatting.

The ideal candidate must be able to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining a consistent editorial standard across hundreds of pages.

Responsibilities:

• Proofread and correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
• Format documents according to publication guidelines.
• Ensure consistency in headings, spacing, fonts, numbering, and overall layout.
• Identify and correct errors while maintaining the original meaning.
• Complete work accurately within strict deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in copy editing, proofreading, or publication work.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle high-volume work under tight deadlines.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign and/or Microsoft Word is preferred.
• Portfolio or samples of previous publication work required.
