Social Media Manager

Compensation

Salary: Br12,000/month

ALL INTERVIEWS WILL BE CONDUCTED VIA LIVE VIDEO CHAT. APPLICANTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO COMMUNICATE FLUENTLY IN ENGLISH THROUGHOUT THE INTERVIEW PROCESS. VIDEO INTERVIEWS ARE REQUIRED TO ASSESS ENGLISH PROFICIENCY, COMMUNICATION SKILLS, PROFESSIONALISM, AND SUITABILITY FOR A COLLABORATIVE REMOTE WORKING ENVIRONMENT.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to grow a female-focused content brand across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, data-driven, and passionate about understanding what content resonates with women ages 18–45.

This position is responsible for content scheduling, editing, posting, analytics, audience growth, and monthly market research.

Responsibilities

Social Media Management

Manage all social media platforms.
Schedule and publish content across all accounts.
Monitor audience engagement and content performance.
Maintain consistency in branding and messaging across platforms.
Identify growth opportunities and implement audience development strategies.

Availability

Be available for up to 6 hours per week for video and/or phone calls.
Participate professionally and collaboratively during meetings.
Maintain consistent communication regarding schedules, content performance, and project updates.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must:

Be fluent in both written and spoken English.
Demonstrate professional verbal and written communication skills.
Be familiar with both the Western (Gregorian) Calendar and the Ethiopian Calendar and be comfortable scheduling and planning content using either system when required.
Possess strong organizational and time management skills while managing multiple social media platforms, posting schedules, and deadlines.
Be comfortable working remotely and communicating regularly through video and phone calls.
Be able to work collaboratively in a professional and fast-paced creative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Social Media Management experience.
Experience managing multiple platforms simultaneously.
Strong copywriting and video editing skills.
Familiarity with Telegram, Google Drive, and social media analytics tools.
Experience growing female-focused communities is highly preferred.
Experience working with lifestyle, entertainment, publishing, or digital media brands is preferred.
