Key Responsibilities

● Implement the student's IEP and provide appropriate learning activities, strategies, and materials based on their individual needs.

● Monitor and document the student's academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and developmental progress and provide regular feedback.

● Support and supervise feeding, hygiene, cleaning, play, movement, and other daily activities as required.

● Promote positive behavior, respond appropriately to challenging situations, and ensure the student's physical and emotional safety in accordance with school policies and the IEP.

● Work closely with parents, teachers, and the Special Needs Coordinator; maintain appropriate records, participate in professional development, and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

● Bachelor's Degree in Special Needs Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related fields.

Experience

● Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience

Skills

● Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

● Experience working with children with special needs is preferred.

● Patient, compassionate, attentive, and emotionally mature.
