Junior Graphic Designer – Garment & Textile Industry

Location: Addis Ababa, Sebeta (Segola), Ethiopia

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a talented, creative, and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our team at our garment manufacturing facility located in the Sebeta / Segola area. In this role, you will work closely with our design and production teams to create visually appealing product graphics, apparel prints, branding assets, and promotional materials.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative artwork, graphics, prints, and pattern concepts for garment and textile production.

Prepare tech-ready files and color separations for screen printing, embroidery, and sublimation.

Design promotional and marketing collateral, including social media assets, catalogs, banners, and packaging/hangtags.

Collaborate with fashion designers and production staff to ensure graphic files align with production specifications.

Maintain an organized visual digital archive of pattern files, design assets, and finished layouts.

Qualifications & Requirements

Gender: Female candidate preferred.

Education: Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.

Experience: 0–2 years of experience in graphic design (exposure to the garment, textile, or fashion industry is a strong plus).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Location: Must be willing/able to commute to or work in segola (ሸጎሌ) Addis Ababa.

Soft Skills: Strong eye for typography, color theory, and current apparel trends; good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
