Ethio-American Academy

is seeking a passionate, creative, and energetic Kindergarten Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will help shape the minds of our youngest learners by delivering an engaging, holistic curriculum that fosters curiosity, foundational academic skills, and social-emotional growth.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

* Curriculum Delivery & Lesson Planning: Design and implement engaging weekly lesson plans, interactive activities, and educational games tailored for early childhood development.

* Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages positive behavior and active participation.

* Student Assessment & Support: Monitor each child's progress (academic, social, and motor skills), providing individualized support to help students meet early learning milestones.

* Parent Communication: Build strong partnerships with parents and guardians by providing regular updates on student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.

* Collaboration: Work closely with the school administration and teaching team to align on academy-wide academic standards and curriculum goals.

Other Preferred Qualifications

* Education: A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Pedagogy, Psychology, or a related field.

* Experience: Previous experience working with kindergarten-aged children or teaching in an early childhood setting is highly preferred.

* Language: Excellent command of both written and spoken English.

* Soft Skills: Exceptional patience, empathy, communication, and a genuine love for working with young children.

* Creativity: Ability to integrate creative learning methods, such as storytelling, arts and crafts, and hands-on activities, into daily lessons.
