About the Role

We are looking for talented Amharic voice artists to narrate professionally produced audio content.

The ideal candidates have a clear, pleasant, and engaging voice, excellent Amharic pronunciation, and the ability to make written content sound natural and enjoyable to listen to.

Responsibilities

Narrate written scripts in Amharic.
Deliver clear, natural, and engaging voice recordings.
Maintain appropriate tone, pacing, pronunciation, and emphasis.
Make the narration sound conversational rather than simply reading from a script.
Follow scripts accurately while maintaining a natural delivery.
Re-record sections when necessary to meet quality standards.
Maintain consistent voice, tone, and pronunciation across recordings.
Meet agreed recording deadlines.

Requirements

Excellent spoken Amharic.
Clear pronunciation and strong vocal delivery.
Pleasant, engaging, and easy-to-listen-to voice.
Strong Amharic vocabulary and pronunciation.
Ability to maintain consistent tone and pacing.
Strong attention to detail.
Reliable and able to meet deadlines.
Comfortable with recording and re-recording content when required.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in voice-over, narration, radio, podcasting, audiobook recording, advertising, or similar work is a plus.
Experience with educational, informational, storytelling, or documentary-style narration is an advantage.
No professional recording equipment is required — recording equipment will be provided.

The narration should feel natural and intelligent, keeping the listener engaged from beginning to end.
