Job Summary

The Junior Finance Officer will assist in daily accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, supporting tax-related processes, and maintaining organized financial documentation under the supervision of senior finance staff. This role requires close collaboration with multiple departments to promote financial efficiency, accountability, and transparency throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:(but not limited to )

· Assist in routine daily financial transactions and vouchers.

· Help maintain organized physical and digital filing systems.

· Assist in monthly payroll, tax declarations, and reporting under Ethiopian tax laws.

· Handle routine bank deposits and balance checks as instructed.

· Support senior officers in audit preparation and account reconciliations.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or related field.

· 0 to 1 year of relevant experience on finance or accounting is a plus.

· Basic understanding of Ethiopian tax regulations and routine financial procedures.

· Understanding of SACCO / Cooperative operations is an advantage.

· Good command of MS Office programs, especially MS Excel.

· High attention to detail, strong learning agility, and good organizational skills.

· Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
