Accountant Job Description

Position Title: Accountant

Reports To: Finance Manager

Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
Prepare tax reports and support tax compliance activities.
Monitor expenses and ensure proper financial controls.
Support internal and external audits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience .
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
